Information we handle

Three tools send what you enter through our server so that they can work: the IP Address and Hostname Lookup, the HTTP Response Header Checker and the Japanese Address to English Converter. All other tools run entirely in your browser, and what you enter is never sent to our server.

We do not store what you enter on our servers. That includes the tools that send input through our server. The Markdown Editor's draft and the tools you add to your favorites are kept only in this browser on your device; they are never sent to us and do not carry over to other devices or browsers.

Requests to other servers

The HTTP Response Header Checker connects from our server to the URL you enter. That server may log the request, including the URL and our server's IP address.

The Japanese Address to English Converter sends the address to our own address server, and sends the part after the block number (such as the building name) to the Yahoo! Japan Text Analysis API to look up its reading. Yahoo! Japan handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Advertising

This site uses a third-party advertising service (Google AdSense). Ad providers may use cookies to show ads based on your interests.

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you visit and your browser type. We do not use it to identify you personally.

If you do not want cookies

You can limit this collection by turning off or deleting cookies in your browser settings. The tools still work with cookies turned off.
